VP pick under investigation (also known as why McCain should learn how to use a computer)
McCain’s VP pick, 44 year old Alaska Governor Sarah Palin, is under investigation. The Alaska Senate approved the hiring of an independent investigator at the beginning of August to look into whether she fired the state Public Safety Commissioner because he refused to her her ex-brother-in-law, a state trooper. According to the Chicago Tribune, “Palin replaced him with the former police chief of the city of Kenai. But he quit after it became known that he received a reprimand after sexual harassment allegations were filed against him in his former post.”
